"It all started when I was a little girl."
My whole life I have experienced a magical love for flowers. Some of my earliest memories centered around my Grandmother who would pick and arrange the wildflowers she grew in her garden. Fridays were especially wonderful. I would look forward to coming home from school and seeing the flowers and smelling the magical fragrances that would fill our home for the weekend.
Did you know that all the senses of the body must go through several nerve tracts to get to the brain? - all except the sense of smell. Smell is the only sense that goes directly to the brain. Therefore, smells elicit responses from the brain and brings on immediate memories of our past.
These memories of my childhood home are still alive with me every day that I go to work, and I realize that I am fortunate to be able to live out my life-long dream.
